Dr. Ryan is a board-certified pediatric dentist who is passionate about providing thoughtful, compassionate dental care for children of all ages. With advanced training in pediatric dentistry and a calm, reassuring approach, Dr. Ryan helps children feel comfortable while delivering high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.
After practicing across the country, Dr. Ryan is proud to be back in Montana serving families throughout the Flathead Valley and surrounding communities.

Dr. Ryan was born and raised in Butte, Montana, where he developed a strong appreciation for community and family. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Montana Tech of the University of Montana, then went on to complete dental school at The Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
Following dental school, Dr. Ryan pursued specialized pediatric dental training through a pediatric dentistry residency in Yakima, Washington, where he gained extensive experience in:
- Pediatric behavior guidance
- Oral sedation and hospital dentistry
- Treating children with special healthcare needs
- Dental trauma & emergency care
- Growth and development
- Comprehensive restorative pediatric dentistry

Leadership, Teaching, & Continuing Education
After completing his residency, Dr. Ryan remained with the program as a dental attending, where he:
- Taught courses in pediatric dental trauma and behavior guidance
- Supervised residents in the clinical setting
- Continued hands-on patient care to expand his clinical expertise
His commitment to lifelong learning later took him to the East Coast, where he practiced in a private pediatric dental office in New Jersey. During this time, Dr. Ryan completed advanced continuing education in laser dentistry, with a particular focus on tongue-tie and lip-tie evaluation and treatment.

Dr. Ryan is excited to be back in Montana with his wife, Tori, and their five children: Grier, Mazzi, Rhett, Wynne, & Taye. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors whenever possible.
