Dr. Kim brings warmth, clinical experience, and a strong connection to the Flathead Valley to her role at Big Sky Pediatric Dentistry. With a background in general dentistry and a passion for working with adolescents, Dr. Kim plays an important role in helping children especially teens — feel comfortable, confident, and supported as they grow.
Her approach emphasizes compassion, clear communication, and meeting each patient where they are, both developmentally and emotionally.

Education & Background
Dr. Kim was born and raised in Spokane, Washington, but her love of the mountains ultimately led her to Montana and the Flathead Valley. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Washington, followed by her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry, graduating in 2017.
Since completing dental school, Dr. Kim has practiced dentistry throughout Northwest Montana, gaining valuable experience caring for a diverse patient population.

Before joining Big Sky Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Kim practiced general dentistry at:
- CSKT Tribal Health in St. Ignatius
- Flathead Community Health Center in Kalispell
These roles allowed her to work closely with patients of all ages and backgrounds, strengthening her ability to provide thoughtful, individualized care while understanding the importance of access, education, and trust.
Dr. Kim also volunteers her dental skills with organizations such as Shepherd’s Hands and Sealants for Smiles, and serves as an Affiliate Faculty member at the University of Washington, supporting the education of future dental professionals.

Dr. Kim has a particular passion for working with teens and adolescents, helping bridge the gap between pediatric dentistry and adult dental care. This stage of life often comes with new responsibilities, anxieties, and changes — and Dr. Kim strives to make dental care feel approachable and empowering during this transition.
Her clinical focus includes:
- Preventive and restorative dental care for teens
- Education that promotes independence and healthy habits
- Supporting confidence during orthodontic care or cosmetic concerns
- Helping teens feel comfortable taking ownership of their oral health

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kim embraces Montana’s active outdoor lifestyle. She enjoys skiing, rafting, biking, and hiking, and has previously worked as a ski instructor at Whitefish Mountain Resort. She’s also an active participant in local soccer and hockey leagues.
Time spent with family and friends brings balance and joy to her busy professional life.
