Thank you for being gentle and caringPosted on Google Jessica RobbinsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are so happy with Big Sky Pediatric Dentistry! In fact, my 4 year old was counting down the days until he got to go to the "toy dentist" (because he gets to choose a small toy after his appointment). The hygienists are so kind and great with kids and the Dentists are very knowledgeable and kind as well. Thank you for the great experience time and time again.Posted on Google Katie HicksTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr Richardson is professional, patient, and caring! My daughter who is often very anxious about dentist visits, is at ease because of him. Highly recommended!Posted on Google Rose ZimmermanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They are a very caring, helpful & kind team of dentists and take care to make sure you are taken care of. Would highly recommend!Posted on Google Samantha WolfeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They were very kind and made our 6 year old son feel so comfortable that he didn’t cry or fight, and barely showed any discomfort. They were so smooth that our son needs 2 more appointments to take care of things and he isn’t even worried. He’s more or less looking forward to seeing them all again!Posted on Google Sarah WangerinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We always have wonderful experiences here!Posted on Google Julyn Sanders-DeWittTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a great experience at the Kalispell office! They were able to get my daughter in sooner than later. Dr. Richardson was so great with her. Between the dental tech and him she was at ease the whole time (and so was I). They made the experience feel casual, we visited and questions were answered with no problem. My daughter left there asking when she could go back! Thank you to everyone at the office!Posted on Google Sarena NealTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’ve been going to Big Sky Pediatric Dentistry for a few years now, and I truly can’t say enough good things. Before finding them, we tried several other offices and never quite felt at ease. From the moment we walked into Big Sky, every experience has been positive. Every single person in the building is kind, patient, and welcoming. My daughter actually gets excited when I tell her it’s dentist day she loves going! That alone says everything. We’re so grateful to have found such an amazing dental office.Posted on Google Erika Whiton-ScottTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot express my gratitude enough! They were so kind and so patient with my child. She was super nervous for her first time and they made her feel welcome and comfortable. They took the time to explain what each item was and how it works. 10/10 recommend!
We proudly serve families throughout the region with four convenient locations:
Most children should visit the dentist every six months for routine exams and cleanings. Regular visits help prevent cavities, monitor growth and development, and identify concerns early before they become more serious.
Yes. Pediatric dental X-rays use very low levels of radiation and are an important part of diagnosing concerns that cannot be seen during a visual exam alone. We use modern digital imaging and protective shielding to minimize exposure while ensuring accurate care.
Baby teeth play an important role in chewing, speech development, jaw growth, and guiding permanent teeth into proper position. Healthy baby teeth help support healthy permanent teeth and overall oral development.
During a cleaning, we gently remove plaque and buildup, polish the teeth, evaluate oral health, and monitor growth and development. We also spend time teaching children proper brushing and flossing techniques in a positive, encouraging way.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic evaluation by age 7. Early evaluations allow us to monitor jaw growth, bite development, and spacing concerns before they become more complex.
Our team uses child-friendly communication, gentle behavior guidance, and positive reinforcement to help children feel safe and comfortable during visits. We focus on building trust and creating positive dental experiences that support lifelong oral health habits.
If your child experiences a tooth injury, swelling, severe pain, or a knocked-out tooth, contact our office as soon as possible. Quick action can often improve treatment outcomes and reduce complications.
